Summer Program



Who: Any Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan County youth age 6 - 18 can attend. Financial assistance can be applied for and is based on income. Please ask a staff for a financial aid application if you need assistance. Sibling discounts are also offered. Per Boys & Girls Club policy, no member is denied the opportunity to participate in regular club programming based on the inability to pay.
What: We provide fun, hands - on activities to address our five focus areas: education and career; character and leadership; health and life skills; the arts; and sports, fitness, and recreation.
When: During the summer, our clubs are open from 7:30 - 6:00 pm each weekday.
Session 1 - June 12 - June 30, 2023
Session 2: July 10 - August 4, 2023
Where: Summer camp is held at each of our three clubs: Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan. There are also numerous field trips.
Why: Our summer camp is designed to not only prevent summer learning loss but to actually provide activities that lead to brain gain.
How: A membership packet must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian for EACH member. Parents/guardians must provide current and accurate contact and medical information.
Registration will be available in April 2023.
Cost:
Session 1 (June 12th – June 30th) 9:00 am to 5:00 PM $300
Session 2 (July 10th – August 4th) 9:00 am to 5:00 PM $400
Both sessions 1 and 2 9:00 am to 5:00 PM $600
Before or After Care Session 1 (7:30 - 9:00 AM or 5:00 - 6:00 PM) $45
Before or After Care Session 2 (7:30 - 9:00 AM or 5:00 - 6:00 PM) $60
Before or After Care Sessions 1 & 2 (7:30 - 9:00 AM or 5:00 - 6:00 PM) $105
Before and After Care Session 1 (7:30 - 9:00 AM and 5:00 - 6:00 PM) $90

Late Pick up Fee (after 6:00p) .$20 for the first 15 minutes and $5 for each minute thereafter.
Additional charges may be applied for certain field trips or specific activities.
The Club reserves the right to change its hours and day of operation based on need and/or economic circumstances. If such changes occur, every effort will be made to notify parents/guardians in advance. Also, there may be days when it is necessary to close the Club due to unforeseen circumstances, like emergency repairs, inclement weather, etc.
