Monica Addison
Jefferson County Unit Director
Originally from Romania, Monica moved to Maryland when she was 24 and moved to the Eastern Panhandle in 2008.
She worked at Ranson Elementary School for 11 years as the Parent Involvement Coordinator and started working part time at the Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle in the summer of 2022. In taking on the role of the Jefferson County Unit Director in February 2023, Monica says “she loves working with the kids and their parents.”
Monica and her husband have two sons and one daughter.

Sandy Mellott
Berkeley County Unit Director
Sandy was born and raised in Berkeley Springs, and has worked at the local Club since 2001. She started her career as a volunteer, teaching arts & crafts when her son joined the Club and has been there ever since. She is currently the Unit Director for Martinsburg-Berkeley County.
Sandy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairmont State College with a minor in Speech and Theater. As a mother of three (3), Sandy watched all of her children grow up with the Boys & Girls Club.
In her spare time, she enjoys painting and poetry. Her favorite quote is “Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain.”

Michelle fischer
Morgan County Unit Director
Michelle Fischer was born and raised in Morgan County. She found her second home at the Boys & Girls Club in the fall of 2001. She worked as a YDP and Teen Coordinator for many years before becoming Assistant Unit Director. In 2024, Michelle became the Unit Director of the Boys & Girls Club in Morgan County.
Michelle has three children who have and are still growing up in the club.

DAVID HUSTON
Assistant Unit Director
David was born in Maryland but has called West Virginia home since 2009. After spending time as a volunteer at our Jefferson County Club in 2023, David joined the Berkely County Club before the summer of 2024. Since then, he has been promoted to the Assistant Unit Director in Berkely County.
David is currently a student at Shepherd University pursuing a degree in Social Work. He says he is hoping to have a career in Child Welfare and Child Development. In his spare time David enjoys sports, music, and spending time with his family.
